• ShopYourLikes requires a minimum earnings of $25 before issuing a payment. If you don’t reach that amount within a month, your balance will carry over to the following month(s) until the threshold is met.-per-click (CPC) retailers pay you for each click on a link. For commission-based (CPA) retailers, your earnings are determined by the number of products sold. CPC rates are listed as the amount you are paid per click, while CPA retailers show the percentage you earn per item sold. *If you see “retailer breakdown” next to a retailer listed, please click as products and categories may have different commission rates.

Payment is typically issued around 45 days after the close of the month. Our accounting process follows a Net 45 payment term, so you’ll receive payment for a given month approximately 6 weeks after the month’s end. For example, you would receive payment for July on September 15 (45 days from the last day of July).

• For US residents, please upload a W-9 IRS tax form, which you can find here or on the IRS government website.
• For Non-US residents, there are two steps. First, please upload a W-8, found here. Second, reach out to community@shopyourlikes.com to get one other required form.

We’ve created a handy step-by-step guide on how to fill your W-9/W-8 form here. Please note, these are general instructions to fill out your form. We advise you to speak with a tax consultant.

The most current version of the form will always be available on the IRS website, but we’ll also accept the October 2018 form.

You can find the form version at the top left of either form where it says “Rev. October 2018”. The form version is written as “yyyymm” in the ShopYourLikes platform’s “Form Version” box when submitting your W9/W8. For example, October 2018 will be written as “201810.”

Since we used PayPal as our payment processor, we don’t send out any tax forms, including 1099 forms. If you want to find out if you’re eligible for tax forms via PayPal, you can visit their help page for more information. All payments sent out to users are untaxed, which means you are responsible for reporting and paying taxes to the IRS, if applicable.

Welcome to your Earnings and Adjustments report!  This report provides a detailed breakdown of your earning types and can be found under the Reporting tab in your dashboard:

To view your report, select Earnings and Adjustments, then choose the date range you would like to see:

After selecting the months you wish to view, you’ll see the different types of payments for each month:

• Earnings (Affiliate)
• Paid Partnership
• Bonus
• Ambassador
• Referral

Please note that the Payment Period signifies when you earned the money, while Payment Date indicates when it was/will be disbursed. If you don’t see a Payment Date, that means the earnings have not yet been paid, but you can see what your current affiliate earnings are and what other payments will be made for that Payment period.
