When submitting your W9/W8, we ask that you fill out and complete the latest version of the respective form. This is just so we have the most up to date version of the IRS tax form on file. The most accurate version of the form will always be available on the IRS website.
To locate the form version, you'll look to the top left of either form:
Where it says "Rev. October 2018", this will be your form version. It will always be shown as a month followed by the year. The way you'll fill in the "Form Version" box in the ShopYourLikes platform when submitting your W9/W8, is "yyyymm".
So October 2018 will be written "201810" as the form version.
